Activities around the Zugspitze in summer
The Zugspitze and the surrounding Tyrolean mountain world are an Eldorado for mountain fans from all over the world. Climbing fans will enjoy the 130 climbing routes on the Zugspitze or can show their expertise in the Aerial Forest Adventure Park in Bichlbach, with a guaranteed view of the surrounding summits of Tyrol. You can look forward to unforgettable moments in the Tyrolean mountains.
In summer the Zugspitze region is especially popular with mountain bikers, who can explore the most beautiful mountain biking region in Austria on two wheels via more than 100 biking routes. Pleasure cyclists and families can also try out the new electric mountain bikes at the Zugspitz Resort and climb the steepest summits effortlessly. The Zugspitze region offers a huge variety of sporting activities that are sure to gladden your heart. Playing golf, swimming in one of the many lakes, Nordic walking, riding, tennis and running are just some of the many options – and they are all set against the striking backdrop of the Zugspitze.
